Anyone Know How To Remaster Mp3's

Does anyone know of any good programs to remaster mp3s. I was lookin for a program to remaster some live stuff get rid of a bit of crowd noise, bit of base, louden the volume and clear the singing up. If theres is any program out there what anyone knows about do you think you could help.

Sony SoundForge? Also, there's Adobe Audition (old CoolEdit), but I'm not really sure if this one can do what you want.

Adobe Audition. I use this constantly it has some great tools and effects and I have worked on a shitload of bloodhound gang with this and it's just great

Sweet, I'll try that on some of my personal demos - I've been recording some stuff at the TV studio where I work (and I'm recording there again tomorrow!) and I've been looking for a way to take the crappy mp3s/wav files it gets converted to when it's edited and get those to a reasonable standard so I can get em up online.
